World Bank Approves $41.0M Electricity Restoration Project For Gambia

The World Bank’s executive directors on May 17 approved a $41.0 million equivalent International Development Association (IDA) grant in favour of The Gambia for an Electricity Restoration and Modernisation Project.

According to sources, the project will help improve the operational performance of the Project Implementing Entity and improve the capacity of the Project Implementing Entity to dispatch variable renewable electricity.
