Info Digital creates a new project that aims to support young Gambian entrepreneurs.
The Gambia Entrepreneurs project was created to help young businesses grow. The main goal is to give access to finance for youth-led Gambian companies of small and medium sizes.
This new initiative allows entrepreneurs across the Gambia and beyond to get access to affordable loans with a reduced level of interest rates and collateral requirements. The Gambia Entrepreneurs project also provides incentives for the development of small businesses in the Gambia through financial training, market linkages, and the mini-grant scheme for grass-roots entrepreneurs.
The mini-loan option aims to help small businesses purchase new facilities and equipment as well as expand the existing premises and working capital to help young entrepreneurs grow their businesses or establish new ones.
